I love the White Russian in here, super smooth! Huge plates, too. One small suggestion: maybe add little less mustards to the tartare would’ve taste better? Everything else was perfect, recommended!

Nice place to enjoy a well prepared traditional meal with drinks. Enter from the street and go up the stairs or elevator. There are a few small balcony tables for two with a view of the park. Great Mexican wines on offer. Service was good and there is an English menu available. Menu selections are nice chef renditions of traditional dishes or modern dishes with traditional ingredients. I had a nopale salad that was delicious. A little expensive but the service, ingredients, size, and passion give great value.

This restaurant exceeded our expectations in food, service, atmosphere, and price. The sopa veraduras (veggie soup) was fresh with brightly flavored broth. It immediately signaled to us that we were in for a quality meal. The fillet of beef mole was tender and the mole sauce was spicy, rich and applied sparingly such that it did not overpower the steak. The chile relleno, which I chose because it is a classic, also exceeded my expectations. I was concerned it would be too much cheese and cream, but it was in fact well balanced, and so good that I didn't even miss not having a meat myself. The meal was so good that we stuck around and ordered two desserts: the mouse de mamey and the tres leches cake. The cake was good, maybe slightly sweet if one was to be extremely critical. The mouse de mamey was very interesting. Mamey is a local fruit that I would describe as being a mildly flavored cross between melon, passion fruit, and avocado. It was slightly similar to a sweet red bean paste if it were possible to mouse it. Across the board the dishes were high quality, expertly prepared, interesting, and the service was hard both working and gracious. The only criticism I'd give of the service is that they were working a bit too frantically, though with great effort and care. It was a lovely meal. We are very glad we made the trek to this restaurant rather than just staying in at our hotel.

The restaurant caught our attention due to its location and large terrace. Since the weather was so nice we sat outside, although they also offer indoor dining. The menu is quite unique with all Mexican dishes. We tried the sopes stuffed with banana and cochinita pinil on top. The esquites were delicious and also tried the tartar beef (not very Mexican lol) and their chile en bogada just delicious. The service was fast and friendly and the view of the Cortes palace is a plus.

Outstanding location! My favorite Mexican food is the Chicken Enchilada en Mole. We sat on the balcony overlooking the square. I think everyone will enjoy this restaurant.

Great for people watching and enjoying an eclectic, quality menu. We would definitely returned to sample the many choices they have. You cannot beat the central location or the view in the evening. Earlier in the day, the prime balcony seats are in direct sunlight. But afternoon, you get wonderful shade.
